Prof. Jean-Marie Dubois, wins the 2016 Prize in
Science by the International Union for Vacuum Science,
Technique and Applications (IUVSTA)
Prof. Jean-Marie Dubois, CNRS, France and Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, was honored by FLOGEN with the 2016 Fray International Sustainability Award (Official Award Web site here) and with the symposium in his honor: "Dubois International Symposium on Sustainable Complex Metallic Systems" at FLOGEN's 2016 Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit (SIPS 2016) in Hainan, China: (Official Web site here )

Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieved further recognition, Prof. Jean-Marie Dubois, was awarded in December 2016 the Prize in Science (2016) by the IUVSTA (International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications) for his outstanding contributions to the field of metallic glasses, quasicrystals and complex metallic alloys, in both fundamental and applied research aspects. This is a prestigious IUVSTA award, which is generally given to only 2 persons every 3 years.
