DR. FLORIAN KONGOLI PROVIDED TESTIMONY DURING THE CELEBRATION OF THE MAGNIFICENT LIFE OF ME MIGEN DIBRA 395

Dr. Florian Kongoli, Chairman of FLOGEN and husband of Me. Migen DIBRA, delivered a touching eulogy at the Celebration of her Magnificent Life, commemorated in a memorial ceremony. Me. Migen Dibra's life tragically cut short at the age of 50 due to cancer and possibly medical malpractice was honored during this ceremony. She was a distinguished figure in the legal profession, receiving accolades such as the Montreal Bar Award for Excellence in Civil Law in 2003.

Me. Migen Dibra was a member of the Quebec Bar and affiliated with various organizations, including the Women in the Legal Profession Committee of the Montreal Bar. She has served as the Chair of the FLOGEN SIPS Law Symposium since 2011, showcasing her leadership and expertise in the legal domain.

Her contributions spanned academia, court-related research, and litigation. Notably, her extensive academic work included publishing numerous peer-reviewed articles and completing a comprehensive 761-page PhD thesis on the rights of employees during mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, she authored a 129-page guide for judges of the Court of Appeal of Quebec, providing invaluable insights into their functions.

In the litigation realm, Me. Migen Dibra achieved notable successes, including winning cases at all levels of the Quebec courts, even against a team of prominent law firms. Her achievements garnered recognition in media outlets such as the Montreal Gazette.

Furthermore, she was a respected keynote and plenary speaker at various law and interdisciplinary conferences worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on the legal community. Her legacy lives on through her significant contributions and remarkable accomplishments in the legal field.
