Hon. Dr. Marc Garneau, Former NASA Astronaut, who has supported FLOGEN Stars Outreach since 2013 (see here), became Minister of Foreign/Global Affair of Canada on January 12, 2021.
He is the first and the only scientist/engineer to be Foreign/Global Affair Minister of Canada. We wish Marc many successes ahead.

He is an attorney who, in the beginning of his career, worked for a long time with scientists and engineers in industrial projects. We wish Francois-Philippe many successes ahead.

Hon Jim Carr, became Cabinet Minister of Government of Canada, and Special Representative for the Prairies on January 12, 2021
He is returning to active politics after successfully beating multiple myeloma, a blood cancer, with which he was diagnosed in October 2019. Hon Barr has supported FLOGEN in its work to develop and apply sustainable technologies.
