Prof. Jean-Marie Dubois, wins the 2016 Prize in Science by the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA)

Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieved further recognition, Prof. Jean-Marie Dubois, was awarded in December 2016 the Prize in Science (2016) by the IUVSTA (International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications) for his outstanding contributions to the field of metallic glasses, quasicrystals and complex metallic alloys, in both fundamental and applied research aspects. This is a prestigious IUVSTA award, which is generally given to only 2 persons every 3 years.
