(at the day of presentation)

Authors' coffee provides an important opportunity for authors and session chairs to meet and coordinate final details on the presentation of papers. All morning and afternoon authors and session chairs are strongly urged to attend authors' coffee on the morning of their presentation only. Authors' coffee will be held at 7:00am-8:20am each morning in the San Diego Convention Center Room 6A.

Since the Technical sessions will be held in Marriott Hotel the authors should forecast enough time (around 10 minutes) to come to Marriott for their presentation after the breakfast.

The standard equipment provided will be the following:
  • SVGA LCD PC projector
If choosing this equipment the authors need to bring with them a laptop (portable computer) and the session monitor will help to link it with the projector before the presentation. If using somebody?s else laptop the authors are strongly ADVISED to check their presentation in that laptop in advance to correct any possible problem that it is likely to occur because of different set of fonts available in each computer, the versions of software and other compatibility issues.
  • Overhead projectors
If authors choose this type of equipment they need to bring with them the transparencies sheets only.

If other equipment is needed (ex. 35 mm slide) please contact me by e-mail to YazawaSymp@FLOGEN.COM as soon as possible

It is recommended that authors prepare their own overheads, slides, computer presentations before arriving. Every attempt will be made to have student monitors available to offer assistance when needed. Copying, printing, faxing services will be provided by the Convention Center at a minimal cost to the attendee.

Authors may preview their slides before their technical presentations in the slide preview area, located in the authors' coffee area (Room 6A) of the Convention Center, Monday-Wednesday, 7:00am-6:00pm and Thursday, 7:00am-12:00am.

This publication area it is planned to be set up in the Marriott Hotel just outside Santa Rosa Room from 10: 00AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Wednesday

A guest hospitality area has been set up for spouses and guests of the authors and attendees, each day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Ocean Side room of Marriott Hotel.
