Hon. Dr Janez Potocnik is awarded the Champions of the Earth Award by the United Nations Environment Programme

Hon. Hon Dr Janez Potocnik's acceptance address to SIPS 2011 delegates and to Dr. Florian Kongoli, President of SIPS and President of FLOGEN, on the occasion of receiving Fray International Sustainability Award at FLOGEN's 2011 Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit (SIPS 2011) in Cancun, Mexico.

Fray International Sustainability Award was the first Award given to Hon. Dr Janez Potocnik who just had started his job as European Commissioner for the Environment.

Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieved further recognition, Hon. Dr Janez Potocnik was awarded in September 2013 awarded the Champions of the Earth Award by the United Nations Environment Programme.
