Abstract:During the COVID-19 pandemic, messenger RNA became familiar to everyone. This lecture begins by exploring the three essential molecules of life - DNA, RNA, and proteins. It then delves into the history of these molecules over the past 80 years, highlighting how knowledge about them was acquired and ultimately led to the development of our current vaccines. The lecture also draws important conclusions from each case. |
