Short Bio:Li-Ming WU, born in July 4th, 1973. Professor of college of Chemistry, Beijing Normal University (BNU), Beijing, China. He received his BS and MS degree in quantum theory chemistry from BNU in 1993, 1996, PhD in quantum theory chemistry from Fuzhou University, in 1999, and carried his postdoctoral research in the field for inorganic solid chemistry first at Fujian Institute of Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from 1999 to 2001, and then at Arizona State University, USA from 2001 to 2004. He is a visiting professor at northwestern University, Jan–Sep. 2014. He started his own academic career and joined the faculty of FJIRSM in Feb 2004 as an awardee of “Distinguished Oversea Scholar” from CAS, FJIRSM (2004). He was promoted as a full professor in 2005. He moved to BNU as a “high-level-talent” in 2014. He serves as the vice director of the center for advanced materials research BNU since 2021, serves as a member of the Academic Committee of BNU, committee Member of the council of the Chinese Thermoelectric Society, Chinese Materials Research Society (CTS, C-MRS), and the editorial board of Journal of Solid-State Chemistry since 2020.
