Short Bio:

Ling Chen, Professor, Beijing Normal University, the member of IAB of Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. since 2021, associate editor of Crystal Growth and Design since 2018. The PI of the Key National Science Fund in 2022.
Chen received her PhD degree from FIRSM, CAS, in 1999, and carried her postdoctoral research at Iowa State University, USA from 2000 to 2003. She joined the faculty as a full professor at FJIRSM in 2003, and moved to BNU in 2014.
Her research efforts focus on exploration of novel solid-state functional materials, especially nonlinear optical materials and thermoelectric materials. Her awards include the distinguished lectureship of the chemical society of Japan (2008) and Alberta University (2012). She published more than 140 SCI papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater. and Nat. Commun. etc.
