Short Bio:Katsuya Teshima is a Professor/Director of Center for Energy & Environmental Science, Shinshu University. He studied materials chemistry, especially silica thin films at received his Ph.D from Nagoya University. He started his research on inorganic crystals and flux growth for various applications at Prof. Oishi group in Shinshu University as an Assistant Professor. He promoted to the present position and has been focusing on the materials chemistry in energy conversion and storage crystalline materials, visible-light-driven photocatalytic crystalline materials for solar hydrogen production, and ion-exchange crystalline materials for water purification through flux method and his original flux coating technique. |
