Abstract:Modern corporate compliance systems have considerably affected the way the modern multinational business corporations work. These systems have replaced the culture of existing corruption and have become significant tools to prevent transnational crime and political corruption, including the replacement of corrupt governments practices that result on the theft of resources from their people and worsen the economic and social development by channelling the money for the enrichment of a few numbers of people. Various examples on the above will be given and proper conclusions will be drawn. |
