Fernando Fernandez-Lazaro

Short Bio:

Fernando Fernández-Lázaro is Full Professor of Organic Chemistry at Miguel Hernández University of Elche (February 2016). After presenting his PhD Thesis at Autónoma University of Madrid (1992) under the guidance of Prof. Tomás Torres, he spent post-doctoral stays at Eberhard-Karls University (Tübingen, Germany; April 1993 to August 1994) with Prof. Michael Hanack, and University of California Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, California, USA; March 1996 to September 1997) with Prof. Bruce H. Lipshutz. In October 1998 he joined the recently founded Miguel Hernández University of Elche (October 1997) as Associate Professor. He is coauthor of 125 peer-reviewed articles and 4 scientific book chapters.
