Elena Bekyarova

Short Bio:

Dr. Elena Bekyarova obtained a PhD degree in Chemistry from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is an Associate Research Chemist in the Chemistry Department and an Associate Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. Her research interests include synthesis, properties and applications of carbon nanotubes and graphene with particular focus on the chemistry of these materials and modification of their electronic and magnetic properties. She is the President and CEO of Carbon Solutions Inc. At Carbon Solutions she leads the effort in development of advanced batteries and supercapacitors.
