Tamer Turna

Short Bio:

Tamer Turna, was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1967. He graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business – Executive Education Program (2015), performed his Ph.D. (2001), M.Sc. (1992), UGRD (1990) education at the Technical University Yildiz with the major in mechanical engineering, whereas such education credentials have been accepted by the University of Toronto (2015). Since 01/2020 Dr. Turna was appointed as the Board Advisor and Vice President of KARADENIZ HOLDING A.S., which is the world largest floating type power plants and LNG terminals fleet owner and operator, which’s unit sizes are between 38 MW to 600 MW. Prior to joining KARPOWERSHIP, he worked as engineer, salesman manager, executive manager, C.E.O. and Board Member at companies (first to last) like Stromerzeugung u. Anlagenbau GmbH, Borusan Power Systems AS., CATERPILLAR Power Ventures Inc., MVV Energie AG., E.ON Energy Projects GmbH, E.ON Climate and Renewables Ltd., TES Ltd., Yildirim Energy Holding AS, and cmc Instruments GmbH. His total work experience of 30 years, covers a cumulative capacity of 105 GW installed power generation capacity, having served in design-build-project management-sales-service-develop-finance-invest-asset management-trade, with a business footprint of having chased projects in 54 countries. His is a father of three children.
