Rotary Kiln is widely used for multiple applications in various industries such as
- Mineral processing/Roasting of various materials such as Lime, Metakaolin, Titanium dioxide, Alumina, Vermiculite etc.
- Metals recycling of various waste and secondary materials
- Cement Production
- Iron and steel to produce iron ore pellets
- Refractories
- Pulp and paper

This symposium is dedicated but not limited to all aspects of Rotary Kiln in the above mentioned fields covering
1) Operations
2) Technology aspects and improvement
3) Design and Engineering aspects
4) Thermotechnics (Combustion Engineering)
at existing and new plants in order to achieve product quality products, at high efficiency and at the same time reduce emissions to the atmosphere.
