Abstract:The rotary kiln process that produces magnesite sinter creates a considerable amount of dust that contains up to 96% MgO [1]. Usually the quantity of the produced dust is 16% of the quantity of the magnesite concentrate charged in the Rotary Kiln. Up to now, about 90% of the dust is recycled with the feed of the Rotary Kiln, while about 10% of this quantity is lost with the gas. [ 1 ].
