Short Bio:Marc Dubois is full Professor at the Clermont Auvergne University at Clermont-Ferrand, France. He received its Ph.D. in 1999 from the University Henri Poincare in Nancy in Laboratory of Solid State Chemistry, France. He then worked as an assistant professor in the Laboratory of Inorganic Materials at the Blaise Pascal University of Clermont-Ferrand. Since November of 2008, he is working as a full Professor while also directing the Joint Research with Orano “Laboratory of Fluorine Chemistry” and leading the “Inorganic Materials” team. He primarily focuses its researches on fluorine chemistry, specifically on the synthesis under fluorinated atmosphere, and the performance evaluation as electrode materials in batteries, as active materials in gas sensor, as solid lubricants. He takes benefits of fluorination for adding specific properties to polymers (hydrophobic, gas barrier, …). |
