Short Bio:Dr. Akinori Murao belongs to JFE Steel Corporation in Japan. He is currently a Senior Researcher of Ironmaking Research Department in Steel Research Laboratory. He learned fatigue crack of steel material as bachelor degree student under the supervision of Professor Takashi Miyata in 1997, and process metallurgy, especially the blast furnace process as master degree student from 1998 to 1999 under the supervision of Professor Mamoru Kuwabara in Nagoya University. After graduation, he Joined to the NKK Corporation in 1999 and was assigned to Ironmaking research department in Material & Processing Research Center on Fukuyama district. He was in charge of development of pulverized coal injection and combustion technology in lower part of blast furnace. In 2003, NKK Corporation merged with Kawasaki Steel Corporation. After inauguration of JFE Steel Corporation, he moved to Chiba district in the same affiliation to 2007. In Chiba district, he was in charge of development of burden distribution control technique of blast furnace and new ironmaking process so-called Rotary hearth furnace “Hi-QIP” in national project. In 2007, he was back to Fukuyama district and he enrolled in Tohoku University for studying Chemical Engineering as doctor’s course student under the supervision of Professor Hideyuki Aoki in 2015 --- at the same time working in JFE Steel. In 2017, he received the doctor degree, and he now continues to develop technology of blast furnace operation and equipment as researcher of JFE Steel Corporation for reduction of CO2 emissions. |
