Richard Wheeler

Short Bio:

Richard Wheeler is an expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and has been a Research Director at labs in Brussels and Vienna. He is now affiliated with the Jozef Stefan Institute in Slovenia, the European Sustainable Energy Innovation Alliance in Austria, and the Balkan Institute for Labour and Social Policy in Bulgaria. He is a Chair for a number of EU funding evaluations, and assists several European national governments on research policy and strategy. His research interests include renewable energy, nanotechnology and materials, AI, and ecology and sustainability.
