Short Bio:Doctor of Sciences, Professor, Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the World Academy of Ceramics Tetiana Prikhna: Head of the Department of Technologies of High Pressures, Functional Ceramic Composites and Dispersed Superhard Materials in the Institute for Superhard Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Professor of the Chair of Chemistry in the Kiev National University of Building and Architecture. Main fields of scientific interest: Material sciences, Physics and Chemistry of single crystals, thin-films, powders, composites and nanomaterials (preparation using high pressure technique, hot pressing, spark plasma sintering, high isostatic pressing, pressureless and vacuum synthesis, electroerosion dispersion; investigation of the materials structure by X-ray, SEM, TEM, polarized light microscopy, Auger and Raman spectroscopy; study of the materials superconducting and mechanical properties, microwave absorption). The investigated materials were Y123-, Bi2212-, Bi2223-, MgB2-based superconductors, AlN-based microwave absorbers; B4C-, TiB2-, AlB2-, AlB12-, AlB12C2-, B6O-, Si3N4- and SiC-based refractory, abrasive and shock-wave resistant materials; МАХ phases and solid solutions of (Ti, Nb)-(Al, Si)-(C,N) and (Cr,V)-Al-C systems and their composites with diamonds and cubic boron nitride. Now she is the Co-director of the Science for Peace and Security Programme, NATO Project SPS 985070 (2016-2019), Leader of the Ukrainian projects of the Programs -Fundamental problems of new nanomaterials and nanotechnologies-, -Resurs-, -Defence and Security Protection-, Project manager of Specified Purpose project and four Departmental projects of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In former time she was Manager of INTAS UKRAINE-95-0221, 22 bilateral projects (1997-2016) between Ukraine and Germany, France, Hungary, Austria, Greece, Belarus, Responsible executor of NATO -Science for Peace- № 973529 (2000-2005) and Senior Researcher of EU-7 Project -Start- No 295003 of ERA-WIDE program (2012-2014). She is the Member of two Scientific Coucels for the Defece of Doctors Dissertations in Ukraine (Institute for Superhard Materials of the NASU and Institute for Problems of Material Sciences of the NASU); she was the scientific supervisor of 6 Candidate of Sciences (equivalent to PhD); at present performs the scientific consulting of two Doctorants and is scientific supervisor of PhD student. She had 12 invited visits as Guest Professor at Institut fur Physikalische Hochtechnologie and Institute for Photonische Tecnology, Jena, Germany, CRETA/CNRS, Grenoble, France, Universite de Poitiers, CNRS/Lab. de Metallurgie Physique, France, Ilmenau Technical University, Germany, Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Poland. Awarded The Order of Princess Olga, III degree (government award of Ukraine) (2012); The sign "Ushinsky K.D." Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (2011); Commemorative Medal for the 90th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2008); Diploma of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2008) and was -Woman of 2014 year from Kiev- in the nomination -Woman in Science-. Total number of scientific publications - 501, among which are 215 papers, 31 patents and 6 books, more than 180 presentations at conferences and ceminars. |
