Metallurgical Engineer from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (1993), master's at Material and Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1996) and Ph D from Tohoku University (2001). Has experience in Material and Metallurgical Engineering, focusing on Pyrometallurgy, acting on the following subjects: blast furnace, computational simulation, process modeling, sintering, refining, hot metal working, multiphase flows heat and mass transfer on oil and gas industry. Environment impacts and alternative sources of energy.
