Fray International Sustainability Award
Following the footsteps of other FLOGEN award recipients who have subsequently achieve further recognition, Prof. Jose D'Abreu, PUC-RIO, Brazil, was awarded the 2018 Reduction Prize by Brazilian Metallurgy, Materials and Mining Association (ABM) for the work entitled : Metallization and cooling effect of self-reducing agglomerates and the wastes from LD and the blast furnace, carried out along with his collaborators Edelink Efrain Tinoco Falero, Jerson Edwin Alvarado Quintanilla and Luiz Claudio Pinto Oliveira.
