Pierre da Silva Moraes is from Fribourg, married, born in 1976, teacher of Portuguese Language and Literature since 2000, with experience in High School and Higher Education, having taught and still teaching in several public and private education institutions in the municipality.
He served consecutively as a councilor from 2009 to 2020, having been the rapporteur of the new Internal Regulations of the Legislative Branch and the new Municipal Organic Law, in addition to several other legislations, including the proposal of the Neighborhood Law, which was essential for the IBGE to capture more accurate information about the municipality in the last national census, with a view to sensibly optimizing public planning. He was also the author/rapporteur of several investigative pieces in the fight against irregularities and acts of corruption in the Executive Branch.
From January 2021 to April 2024, he served as Secretary of the Civil House of the Municipality, through the government of Mayor Johnny Maycon, having established important actions, including acting decisively for the regularization of the municipality's payroll, the partnership between the Municipality and EMOP to carry out numerous works, the management of measures to raise millionaire funds from the federal government's PAC and to have prepared the proposal for the new administrative structure of the Municipal Executive Branch.
