Honorable Louise Otis is President of the Administrative Tribunal of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

She is President of the Administrative Tribunal of the Organization Treaty of Atlantic North (NATO).

She is Member of the Panel of Independent Reviewers for the Administrative Review of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

She is a deputy judge of the Administrative Tribunal of the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT).

In 2020, the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) appointed Louise Otis to the Internal Justice Council (ICJ) of the Organization, who selects the Judges of the UN Tribunals and annually reviews the internal justice system and makes recommendations for its improvement.

She is a retired Justice of the Quebec Court of Appeal where she spearheaded the introduction of judicial mediation. She participated in over 3000 judgments in civil, commercial and criminal law. She has conducted over 1000 mediation sessions in commercial and civil law.

In 2021, she was appointed on the Panel of conciliators of the International Center For Settlement of Investments (ICSID).
Louise Otis has participated in international governance and justice reform missions with the United Nations (UN), International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB),the International Finance Corporation (IFC) member of the World Bank Group (WB) and the Global Fund. Louise Otis was appointed by the United Nations Secretary-General to a 5-member Panel of independent international experts in charge of redesigning the United Nations system of administration of Justice.

She has created Front Line Justice (FLJ), a system of transitional justice for countries affected by conflicts and/or environmental disasters. The system was implemented in Haiti and Mali in 2012 and 2017 and is disseminated in the Rohingya camps.

She is a distinguished fellow of the International Academy of Mediators (IAM).
