Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) contains significant amounts of metals such as Au, Cu, Ni, etc .. These metals are largely concentrated in WEEE, which determines the type of waste for possible future secondary raw material. WEEE is highly heterogeneous and therefore before the actual treatment it is important to know the exact characterization. The aim of this paper is to propose a possible sampling procedure of waste electrical and electronic equipment in order to obtain a representative sample.
